Crustal Fault Zones are naturally permeable and deep zones that allow fluids to locate positive temperature anomalies at potentially exploitable depths.

Numerical modelling of physical processes is used to understand the factors that may influence fluid flow and to estimate the depth and intensity of temperature anomalies.
